Stockings and Heels final photo

This is the final image from the first photo shoot, perhaps one of my favourites.  Two of the earlier 22×17″ photographic prints have now sold to a collector in New York – which I am taken aback by.  Not the fact that they have sold, but the fact that they have sold so quickly.  I am pleased to see they are being appreciated – and have asked to see a photo of the prints hung in the apartment – if I get this, I’ll post it on the site.  Thanks for the sale, you know who you are!  (you can see info on buying a print on the ‘Buy Print’ tab above).

Print Sales

For those of you who are interested in buying a photographic print, but would prefer not to do it direct, you can now buy a limited edition print from London Art.

New Web Address

As from today, this site has a new address (although the old one will always work).  The address is: www.detailsofawoman.com

This name came from an Italian reader who linked to this blog and called his post. “I dettagli di una donna”, which apparently translates to, “the details of a woman”.  Much nicer than the original site name.

Almost the final stockings edit….

I came back to the stockings photos today and did another edit on the remaining photos, discarding some, and working on a couple of others, which can be seen here.  The next photo shoot was meant to take place this week, but I have been snowed under with commissioned photography, so they will have to wait until next week.

First edit – second print

This is a further edit from the first photo shoot, again I am pleased with this.  Quite sexy, but not over the top.  More importantly, the model was happy with it too.  I’ve kept the grain in the photo and made it quite contrasty.

First Edit

After the first photo shoot, and the first edit of those photos, I have initially chosen this photograph showing a woman wearing black stockings.  I particularly like the movement to the right of the photo, and the frozen sharp image to the left.  I am sure there will be more photographs from this shoot, and they will follow shortly.

Start of the sensual photographs

This blog is the start of a new project, documenting a series of black and white photographs of women, showing their sensual feminine side. As the photography progresses, so will the search for an art gallery to represent the limited edition prints. Along the journey, a book will also be published.

So why do it anonymously? Well, I have exhibited several times in the past, and been represented by galleries in the past. But this time, I just want the images to speak for themselves, and get representation by themselves.

Sometime within the next two years I hope to have these images available for purchase in a photographic gallery. In the mean time, if you would like to purchase a limited edition print, please get in touch by leaving a comment. A maximum of 9 prints will be sold of each photograph.
